Dubai Tourism Dazzles Yet Again in Lagos with Gifts and Much More…

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) was live in Lagos, Nigeria on March 2, 2020 for the final leg of the 2020 Dubai Tourism West Africa Roadshow.

The event which took place at the Sheba Event Centre, Mobolaji Bank Anthony way, Maryland witnessed an impressive turnout as people arrived at the venue early despite the rains in some parts of the city.

Guests who turned up registered and dropped their cards at the reception for a chance to win prizes from the Dubai Tourism goodie bag, while there was provision for sanitizers for a precautionary hand wash before they entered the hall.

The early part of the day was dedicated to networking as visitors went around the various booths meeting the fifty-plus vendors made up of hotels and hospitality service providers, destination marketing companies, tour operators, medical tourism, etc.

At about 13:00hours, the Director of International Operations, Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) for Africa, Stella Fubara welcomed everyone to take a seat while the presentations started.

The event was graced with the presence of the CEO of ATQNwes.com and organiser of the biggest travel expo in West Africa, Akwaaba African Travel Market, Mr. Ikechi Uko who was invited to the high table and later gave a short speech to inspire the audience, particularly the tour operators and travel agents.

The event came to a fitting closure with a bumper giveaway coordinated by the DTCM, as several people in the audience won juicy giveaways, holiday packages and trips to Dubai.
